Research Topic: Siwen Bi is interested in replacing petroleum-based plastics with bio-based and biodegradable polymers with good properties and developing “green” products. She is working on the synthesis of the biodegradable polymer, strategies for modifying the degradability of bio-based polymer and the development of controlled release fertilizer with the biodegradable polymer.
